5 Stars for Our Favorite Breakfast Spot! My husband and I have eaten here quite a few times for breakfast, and we absolutely love it! The Minnesota Omelette and biscuits and gravy are our go-to favorites, but my husband has tried several breakfast dishes and raves about all of them. The atmosphere is wonderful—it feels like stepping back into a small-town diner where farmers gather for coffee and breakfast in the morning. It’s so community-oriented and welcoming. The staff and owners are incredibly hands-on and always make you feel at home. They remember you every time you walk in, and your coffee cup is never empty. If you’re looking for a cozy, friendly place with amazing breakfast food, this is it. Highly recommend!
Went to breakfast here with a friend just to try a new place out. Great location, the food was amazing, the staff was amazing, the place is simple and comfortable so expect diner vs someplace high-end. The food is worth it. Apparently have a bunch of friends that love this place too. We plan to go back when we're up that way again.
Unbelievably adorable and delicious. Gluten-free options galore! You gotta get the Gluten-free carrot cake! The Minnesota Wild Platter is amazing, too. Stop in with the whole family. You won't regret it.
My first reveiw was 4 years ago. Here is an update that it is still a favorite. We have enjoyed the Olde Main Eatery for many years. We are always greated with smiles and friendless. The food never disappoints. We love that it is REAL food. Breakfast or lunch. You know it will be great.
My grandpa brought me to lunch here as we were looking for somewhere local and that also had breakfast! It was mid week and there was a line to get in (which is great to see) but we sat down within 5 minutes. The waitress and staff were all so friendly. My grandfather ordered breakfast and I had a chicken sandwich and both were great, i think I've found my new spot for breakfast around elk river! Id definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Love it here, highly recommend the French toast and the coffee. The coffee comes from another local company called Ember ( up in big lake) love that place too. It’s awesome they are working together. Busy place but it’s a great place and worth every penny

Even if I have to wait 30 minutes, these guys are worth the wait! The food is excellent, especially breakfast. The staff is super friendly always on top refills, napkins and the like. Definitely my favorite spot to eat in Elk River.
